Glade Spring, VA

Gilbert Leon Campbell, age 60, of Glade Spring, Virginia passed away on August 9th, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 22, 1957, to the late Julian Arthur Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was a lifelong resident of Washington County, VA. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and attended Virginia Highlands Community College in Abingdon, VA. He worked for the ABC store in Marion, VA and the Bristol Herald Courier.
He is survived by his mother, Imogene Snapp Campbell of Glade Spring, VA; daughter, LeAnn Nunley and husband Jessee of Marion, VA; grandson, Jacon Nunley; sister, Keele Campbell of Christiansburg, VA; sister, Al’an Dyson and husband Darrell of Meadowview, VA; and Janet Heath, mother of LeAnn.
The family will be having a memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Providence Presbyterian Church, 204 N. Church St. Chilhowie, Va.
