Obituary for
Harry H. Minnick
Our Dad, Harry H. Minnick, 97 years young, is now at rest in Heaven. Early, Thursday morning, March 16th, he joined Louise Bishop Minnick, his precious and loving wife of 51 years; his father, Ewell Lee Minnick; his mother, Margaret Oliver Raines Minnick and his brother, Jay Minnick.
Left to mourn him is his son, Tony Minnick and special companion Gail Musick; grandson, Michael Minnick and wife Dinah; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Wyatt and Avery Minnick; his daughter, Mary Ann Rhudy and husband Rick; granddaughter, Nikki Rhudy Anderson and husband Jamie; great grandsons, Keller and Lennox Anderson; and grandson, Adam Rhudy and wife Mary Katherine.
He was a veteran of WWII having served in the 4th Infantry Division in France and Germany. He retired from the Kroger Company after working there 35 years. He made many friends too numerous to count.
We would like to thank special caregivers, Sandra Hale and Eva Eastridge for the kind and loving care they showed our Dad.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Frost Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, March 20, at the Holston Conference Cemetery in Emory, Va., with Rev. David St. Clair officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery at 3:45 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Michael Minnick, Adam Rhudy, Devin Minnick, Terry Mullins, Jeff Raines and Gary Raines. Honorary pallbearers will be John Yeatts, Cindy Mullins and his former co-workers at Kroger.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
