Obituary for Vaughn Fletcher

Whitetop, Va.

Vaughn Gray Fletcher passed away July 21, 2016 at the UVA Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born December 16, 1962 and had resided in Whitetop, Va. since 1975. He was the owner of his own logging company.

Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents Eugene Fletcher and Ina Fletcher of Abingdon, Va. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Fletcher. He has one surviving daughter; Ashley Fletcher of Johnson City, Tn. He has two stepsons; Dustin Roark and wife Johnna of Damascus, Va. and; Dylan Roark and wife Holly of Bristol, Va. He has two grandchildren; Aliyah and Clayton. There is also one grandchild on the way.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff members at the UVA Hospital. The care to Vaughn and their kindness to the family was wonderful. Thanks also goes out to all the friends of Vaughn.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Frost Funeral Home from 5 P.M. until 6 P.M. The family and friends will also gather at 20338 Vances Mill Road in Abingdon, Va.
