Eileen B. Lowe, age 89, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 26, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 18, 1928, in Washington County, Virginia. She lived her entire life in Washington County and was a graduate of Greendale High School. She was a 1949 graduate of Johnston Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia School of Nursing in Richmond. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years at Johnston Memorial Hospital and also taught nursing at Johnston Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, the Washington County Career and Technical Education Center, and the Neff Center School of Nursing. She loved the nursing profession, especially her work in the Operating Room, and was a highly respected RN. She was a long-time member of Carvasso United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Blevins; mother and step-father, Mary Stuart Branson Blevins Marsh and Charlie Marsh; and her husband, Marshall H. Lowe.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Lowe and wife Donna of Richmond, VA; two grandsons, Nick Kennedy and Ryan Kennedy, both of Richmond; and special cousin, Dr. Don Branson and wife Charlotte of Richmond. The family would like to extend heartful thanks to special friends, Joe Ann Reese, Eileen Long, and Jean Garrett.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 2, 2018, at 7:00 P.M. at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers and Rev. Leonard Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 P.M. until time of the funeral service. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at Knollkreg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Nick Kennedy, Ryan Kennedy, Clint Cody, Korky Skeen, Chuck Reese, and Roger Glover.
