Ronnie Lee Johnson, 73, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 10, 1944, to the late James Malcolm Johnson and Lillian Poole Johnson. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Warren Johnson; one brother, Jimmy Johnson; and a niece, Rhonda Johnson.

He is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

At the request of Mr. Johnson, a memorial graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
