Ellen Gail Warren, age 64, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn.

She was born May 11, 1953, in Washington County, Va., to the late Lundy Johnson and Cora Ellen Lawson Johnson. She was a member of Spoon Gap Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Michael Warren; two daughters, Amy Roark (Michael) of Abingdon and Amanda Jones (Brandon) of Abingdon; five grandchildren, Hunter Jones, Sierra Jones, Seth Roark, Connor Wiles and Caleb Wiles; two brothers, Lewis Johnson (Mary) of Marion and Larry Johnson (Barbara) of Abingdon; two sisters, Kathy Dunn of Abingdon and Carolyn Mumpower (Jackie) of Saltville; special aunt, Mary Ann Hinkle and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Intrepid Home Health, Renee Charles, Jeani Counts, Wellmont Hospice and the nurses on Wilcox Hall at Holston Valley Medical Center for the loving care shown to Gail.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Herbert Bailey officiating. Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Seth Roark, Hunter Jones, Jason Dunn, Kris Dunn, Denny Clark and Jason Ditto. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Spoon Gap Freewill Baptist Church.
