Melody Erin McCray-Eskridge
Glade Spring, Va.
Melody Erin McCray-Eskridge, 38, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Melody was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and was currently attending Virginia Highlands Community College. She loved spending time with her children in the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ralph McCray and maternal grandfather, Russell Price.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Eskridge of the home; children, Michael Jason McCray Eskridge and Erin Delaney McCray Eskridge both of the home; her father, Michael McCray of Chilhowie; her mother, Martha Jo Price of Glade Spring; paternal grandmother, Lorene McCray of Saltville; maternal grandmother, Mary Jo Price of Glade Spring; brother, Brennan McCray and wife Kristy of Palmyra, Va.; nephew, Carter Cash McCray; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eddie and Carrie Eskridge of Glade Spring; brother-in-law, Jeremiah Eskridge of Glade Spring; sisters-in-law, Trudy and Kayla Eskridge of Glade Spring; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
