Lillian Irene Osborne, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Widener Valley in Glade Spring, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Raleigh Thomas and Elizabeth Cole Thomas; husband, Roscoe Columbus “Lum” Osborne; son-in-law, Kermit B. “K.B.” Widener, Jr. and grandson, Robert Samuel “Robbie” Osborne.

Survivors include her children, Lois Blackburn and husband Clinton of Abingdon, Va., Lorraine Widener of Glade Spring, Va., Jim Osborne and wife Sandy of Damascus, Va., Ruth Bennett and husband Andy of Abingdon, Va., Bill Osborne and wife Judy of Meadowview, Va., Betty Widener and husband Norman of Meadowview, Va.; grandchildren, Mike Blackburn, Kristi Blackburn, Cindy Carrier, Daniel Widener, Kirby Widener, Hollie Ballinger, Steve Osborne, Stacey Bennett, Katie Anderson, Mark Osborne, Jason Osborne, Travis Brown, and Jamie Brown; and twenty-one great grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mrs. Osborne will be conducted on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service. The graveside service will be conducted on Monday, December 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Rush Creek Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons of Mrs. Osborne. Honorary pallbearers will be Kirk Ballinger, Tyler Anderson, Chris Widener, Herby Debusk, and Garrett Sanders.

Visitation with the family will be held at the residence of Mrs. Osborne.
