Bristol, Va.

Winifred “Doc” Gill, age 84, of the Caney Valley section of Washington County, Va., went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 15, 1933, in Washington County, Va., to the late Mr. Gilson and Cora Gill. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Lorena Gill; four brothers, Coy, Clayton, Ross, and Carl Gill; three sisters, Mavis, Gladys and Geneva.
Survivors include one son, Michael Gill and fiancé Missy of Bristol, Va.; one brother. Max “Petey” Gill; also, several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the caregivers and the Danny Gill family for all the care that was shown.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating. Graveside and Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the Forest Hills Memory Gardens with military honors. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 12:45 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Danny Gill, Skylar Gill, Mac Wagner, Carlyle Hobbs, Ethan Cox and Mark Hobbs.
The family will be gathering at the home where friends may visit at any time.
