Johnny Wesley Rosenbaum, 71, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 16, 1946, in Washington County, Va., to the late Robert A. Rosenbaum and Susie K. Rosenbaum. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Mitchell and Francis Marlowe and six brothers, Leonard Rosenbaum, Bobby Rosenbaum, June Jones, Jerry Rosenbaum, Gene Rosenbaum and Donnie Rosenbaum.
Johnny was a veteran of the United States Army and a lifelong truck driver.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Rosenbaum and wife Melanie; one daughter, Alicia Rosenbaum; two grandchildren, Kathern and Preston Rosenbaum; three sisters, Betty Rosenbaum, Mary Rosenbaum and Janie Bowman; one brother, James Rosenbaum and wife Carol; two sisters-in-law, Jimmie Lou Rosenbaum and Bea Rosenbaum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 3:45 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel. Cremation will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
