Obituary for Ella Jean "Punkin" Nipper

Glade Spring, VA.

Ella Jean "Punkin" Nipper,age 63, of Glade Spring, VA., passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born July 21, 1953 to the late Reginald and Ruby Keesee. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of McCall's Gap Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate from Emory and Henry College and later finished her Masters in education at Radford University. After college she taught for 43 years working at Atkins and Saltville Elementary Schools.
Including her parents she is preceded in death by one brother; Reginald Butch Keesee III.

She is survived by her loving husband: Leslie Wayne Nipper of Glade Spring, VA.; a very special niece: Kayla Mann and husband Justin of Abingdon, VA, and their son Carter; two step-sons: Robert Wayne Nipper of Saltville, Va, and his son Anthony Nipper, and David Nipper of Glade Spring, VA. and his two daughters Katlin and Allison.; special friends: Mell Henderson, Jeff, Patty and Billy Stiltner, Nanine Woodward, Judy Mowl, and Penny Jones. Also numerous cousins
Funeral services will be held 4 P.M. May 30, 2017 at McCall's Gap Presbyterian Church with Pastor Mike Riley and Rev, Eugene Baldwin officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. May 30, 2017 at McCall's Gap Presbyterian Church prior to the service. A committal service will follow in the Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Wayne Nipper, Anthony Nipper, Jeff Stiltner, Justin Mann, Tom Gentry, and Phillip Harris. Honorary Pallbearer will be Billy Stiltner.
