Suzanne Hurlock Vestal, 86, of Abingdon, Va., passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, at Abingdon Health and Rehab.

She was born July 18, 1930, in Wilmington, DE, to the late William Hurlock and Anna Lee Collins Hurlock. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee “Duke” Vestal; one granddaughter, Lea Galliher; and one sister, Jeanette Howard.

Survivors include five daughters, Deborah Mitchell and husband Tony of Bristol, Tenn., Sandra Harless-Blevins and husband David “Buster” of Bristol, Tenn., Patricia Hearl and husband Danny of Meadowview, Va., Cheryl Hogston and husband Johnny of Abingdon and Jill Arnold and husband Tim of Bristol, Va.; one son, Robert Leonard Vestal and wife Deb of Abingdon; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. David “Buster” Blevins officiating.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Arnold, Jacob Arnold, Sean Galliher, Jimmy Warren, Hunter Hogston, Jamie Harless, Buddy Harless and Chase Mitchell.
