Debbie Roberts Eastridge
Debbie Roberts Eastridge, age 48, of the Denton Valley community of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 12, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born August 10, 1968, in Washington County, Va., and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Denton Valley Baptist Church. Debbie was a dedicated Christian and touched many people throughout her life. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie Hawks Roberts.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Tim Eastridge; father, Jack Roberts; son, Andy Eastridge and wife, Jennifer; granddaughter, Marilyn Eastridge; sister, Marti Roberts; mother-in-law, Delcie Eastridge; sisters-in-laws, Wendy Campbell and Tracy Belcher and husband, Michael; several nieces and nephews; and the dear friends whom she worked with at Anchor Bookstore, Christian Book Warehouse and Two Roads Accounting Service.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Denton Valley Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Pastor Tim Stevens officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Montgomery Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Price, John Doss, Shirl Doss, William Belcher, Michael Belcher and Jimmy Fritz. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Denton Valley Baptist Church.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts can be made to the Denton Valley Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 24051 Denton Valley Rd., Abingdon, Va., 24211.
