Condolence From: Carol Bradley
Condolence: Going out to the lake will never be the same. My Dad, John Totten, introduced me to Melvin years ago. We always stopped to visit for a while where I tried to learn how to argue over prices for the pieces that we wanted. Melvin was always fair but firm! He was at the shop right up to the end - smiling while he sold me some new rockers. He will be missed.

Condolence From: Judy Johnson
Condolence: "He sowed a row of violets down a barren path he trod , that every future passerby might view the handiwork of God," . To put it more simply, I think this sums up this amazing gentleman. A precious Loving Husband, a caring and doting father and grandfather, an amazing friend. A book of knowledge he was. Thought before he spoke. Wise beyond his education, skilled beyond the greatest craftsman. Could take a tree and make it into a fine piece of furniture. Could quote his Bible like the renown evangelist. These are the precious memories that this beautiful family have to hold on to. God Bless you Virginia and family. This mans legacy will live forever.
