Ruby Caldwell Eskridge, of Garden City, Michigan, passed away on December 17, 2015, in Garden City Hospital after surgery.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Van B. Eskridge; her parents, William Henry Caldwell and Ollie Roe Caldwell of Abingdon, Va.; and a sister, Ruth Caldwell Kelly of Glade Spring, Va.

Surviving are three sons, Dan (Doris) Eskridge of Winston-Salem, NC, Richard Eskridge of Garden City, Michigan, and Mark (Brenda) Eskridge of Grand Haven, Michigan; sisters, Joyce (Tom) Hawthorne of Chilhowie, Va., and Bonnie Caldwell of Abingdon, Va.; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church on Old Saltworks Road in Meadowview, Va., with Rev. Sherrell Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
