Kitty Cheryl Inscore, 71, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Kitty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed flowers and card games, however it can be said that most of all she loved life, the friendships she shared with those she came into contact with will always be remembered. Kitty also loved her fellowship with Christ and often attended services at Highlands Fellowship, Adoration Church and Trigg Street Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Flora Johnson Kodak.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Inscore; two children, Sabrina Inscore of Abingdon and Michael Inscore of Florida; four granddaughters; one sister, Brenda Adkins and husband Ray of Waynesboro, Pa.; numerous other extended family and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Frost Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Steve Vaughan and Pastor Todd Asbury officiating.
