Mr. Jackie Wayne Nash, 64, of Abingdon, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at his home.

He was born November 29, 1949, to the late William Joseph Nash and Bessie Cuddy Nash. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Casey and Eugene Nash; and two sisters, Ruth Gobble and Minnie Bostwick.

He was a lifelong resident of Washington County and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include: one brother, Thomas Casey and wife Ruth of Bristol, VA; two sisters, Bettie Morrison and Joyce Harmon both of Abingdon; several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Nash will be cremated.

The graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN, with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m.

Visitors are welcome anytime at the home, 19480 Rustic Lane, Abingdon.
