Mary Ruth Wagner Nunley, age 95 of Washington County, Va., passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Isom Henry Wagner and Julia C. Wagner. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Nunley; two sons, Miles W. Nunley and James W. Nunley; and three sisters. Mrs. Nunley attended the Abingdon Senior Citizens for 40 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda Maxwell, Mary Sherfey, Audrey Brewer and Barbara Herndon; fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members.

Funeral services for Mary Ruth Nunley will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, January 1, 2014, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Widner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
