Obituary for
Benjamin "Frank" Quesenberry
Mr. Benjamin “Frank” Quesenberry, age 79 a former resident of Damascus, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Holston Valley Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Shady Valley, Tennessee the son of the late William H. and Lena R. Eastridge Quesenberry and was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matthew Scott Quesenberry and Benjamin Franklin Quesenberry III. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a retired electrician.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Quesenberry of Blountville, Tennessee; Two sons, Benjamin “Frankie” Quesenberry and wife JoAnn of Meadowview, Virginia and Mark Quesenberry of Meadowview, Virginia; Two Daughters, Teresa Vance and husband Chris of Bristol, Tennessee and Lisa Quesenberry of Bristol, Virginia; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; One sister Edith Kauffman of Pennsylvania.
The family would like to thank Wellmont Hospice for the love and kindness that was shown to Frank and the entire family during his illness.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 26, 2013 in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Walls officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors presented by the Highlands Veterans Honor Guard and the Virginia National Guard.
The family will receive friends at the Frost Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
Active pallbearers will be Frankie Quesenberry, Mark Quesenberry, Josh Lowe, Kent Parks, Darrell Miller and Howard Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Bentley Quesenberry, Cale Widener and Harold Wilcox.
